Our methods for the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products.
Due to the fact that the transport is usually carried out in large numbers, the transportation of crude oil and through our company to our clients petroleum products one of the following ways:
Transportation by rail.
Sea transport by tanker.
Transportation via pipelines.
Transportation by road.
For oil, this means shipping crude in large tankers to refineries, and then shipping the refined product to where it is consumed. LSI Terminals both owns and charters ships to deliver crude oil and oil products, as well as coal, bitumen, chemicals and pressurised gas. At any one time we have 250 ships at sea and in 2018 chartered 6,843 ship journeys.
Crude oil transportation is the backbone of our business at LSI Terminals. It’s how we started the company many years ago and served as the basis of our company for the decade. LSI Terminals dominates domestic crude oil transportation market share servicing for LSI Terminals and other major domestic Oil Companies. As a national strategic resources, we transport crude oil based on long-term contract with safety in mind service. Continuous safe operations build our company as a “reliable transportation partner”. We are in good relationship with worldwide oil majors, Asian oil majors and trading companies including Japanese and Chinese companies.
